The Government of Ontario should hear directly from students about how OSAP cuts have affected them.

Join IGNITE at our Students Write Back campaign stops to share your concerns and be heard.

IGNITE is advocating for changes to OSAP and has sent a letter to Premier Ford and Ontario MPPs outlining recommendations to improve the financial aid program. Now, it's your turn.

You can choose to:

  • Read and sign our OSAP recommendation letter, which highlights three of our key recommendations

  • Write a postcard about your own experiences

You don’t have to worry about finding your MPP's mailing address or buying stamps. We can help you find the right information; all you need is your postal code.

Here’s what you can expect:

When you arrive, you’ll:

  1. Register through MyIGNITE and have your access card scanned.

  1. Choose between a pre-written letter or an IGNITE postcard.

  1. Read the recommendations and add your own message if you choose a postcard.

  1. Access your local MPP’s mailing address.

  1. Sign and send your letter or postcard using the provided stamp.

  1. Drop your letter into the designated box!

You’ll also get an opportunity to have your handwriting analyzed by a professional at select campaign dates!

We'll take care of getting your message to Queen's Park and into the hands of your MPP – all you need to do is show up on campus. Remember, there is strength in numbers. When we come together and share our experiences, we can prove to decision-makers what matters.

You don’t need to be an expert on OSAP or government policy to participate. Stop by, find your MPP with our help and decide how you want to make your voice heard!
